2021 was a jam-packed year. Megan Swartz came in and showed us what a rockstar she truly is. She obtained her license and continues to be an asset to the team. Ramsey Zengbean came on board the last half of the year. He earned his insurance license and is excelling as well.
We haven’t seen much of Meliya as she has concentrated most of her efforts on school. We know Mel will get her back in here.
Dessica received a promotion. She is now in charge of account reviews. She loves to educate our clients to verify that we are adequately meeting needs and wants. She also publicly announced that her family would be growing in 2022 as they prepare for the addition of Baby Coleman. We are ecstatic for Dessica and her family.
Teresa is preparing to transition to function primarily as a producer in 2022. Her specialty is risk management for churches and non-profits. However, she works with most industries. Teresa also manages the office and helps with personal lines as needed. It should be an exciting year for Insurefit RM’s commercial lines. Chubb and Philadelphia were both added to our list of carriers this year.
Mel is moving right along with his niche in marketing for breweries, wineries, and distilleries. He plans to continue growing that market while leading the agency. Mel’s analytics and strategies are what helped the agency be recognized as a Best Practices Agency for the 3rd year in a row. That is a prestigious honor. It was made possible in large part by Mel’s investment in technology and dedication to systems and processes. Insurefit RM is on the frontline of digital innovation and efficiencies. This year the agency was also voted Knoxville’s Finest Agency by Blank Readers. We were excited about that. We expect more name recognition in the years to come. Mel’s degree is in marketing/advertising and he uses that in combination with his analytical side to create agency strategies.
The agency moved to suite 101 in the building at 705 Gate Lane. We are happy there. It is a great temporary home. As you may know, Mel purchased a building, and our permanent home is undergoing renovations. We expect to move into it before our letter next year.
